Sub-acute, medically supervised drug and alcohol detox in a private Pasadena estate. 24-hour nursing, evidence-based comfort medications, and a setting that feels nothing like a hospital.
Registered nurses on-site every hour of the day. Vital signs monitored, medications administered, comfort measures tailored to your needs.
Licensed addiction medicine physician oversees every protocol. Comfort meds when appropriate. No one-size-fits-all detox.
Most clients complete detox in 5-10 days, then transition seamlessly into residential treatment without changing facilities or clinicians.
Detox is the most physically uncomfortable part of recovery — and the most important to get right. We've designed our program around the idea that withdrawal management shouldn't feel like punishment. You arrive, you settle into your private bedroom, and the work of getting through withdrawal happens with full medical support and zero hospital sterility.
Within hours of admission, our medical team conducts a comprehensive intake assessment — substance use history, medical conditions, current medications, mental health history. From there, we build a detox protocol specifically for you. For some clients, that means comfort medications to manage withdrawal symptoms. For others, it means tapering schedules. For everyone, it means 24-hour nursing presence and physician oversight.
Out-of-network options and private pay welcome. Verification takes about an hour.
Most clients complete medical detox in 5-10 days. The exact timeline depends on the substance, length of use, and individual physiology. Alcohol and benzodiazepine detox typically take longer than opioid or stimulant detox.
Withdrawal is physically uncomfortable, but we use evidence-based comfort medications to manage symptoms. Our goal is to make detox as bearable as possible — not to make you tough it out.
We strongly recommend medical detox for alcohol and benzodiazepine withdrawal, which can be life-threatening. Even for substances with less dangerous withdrawal, medical detox dramatically increases the chance of completing detox without relapsing.
Yes. For opioid use disorder, we offer Suboxone and Vivitrol. For alcohol use disorder, we offer Naltrexone and Acamprosate. MAT is always paired with therapy — never offered as a standalone solution.
Most clients transition directly into our residential program — same property, same clinical team, no break in care. We'll work with you and your family to determine the right next level of care.
Speak with our admissions team about what to expect. We can usually admit within 24 hours when beds are available.
